The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) is a statutory regulatory body established by the Government of India under the PNGRB Act, 2006. Functioning under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, PNGRB is responsible for regulating the refining, processing, storage, transportation, distribution, marketing, and sale of petroleum products and natural gas. The Board promotes fair trade, consumer protection, and the development of a competitive and efficient energy market.
