The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has invited applications for the post of Executive Engineer (Civil) on a deputation basis. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction and maintenance of residential and non-residential buildings.
• Experience in:
  • Designing
  • Estimation
  • Contract Management
  • Construction Supervision
  • Infrastructure Maintenance

Service Eligibility

Applicants should fulfill any one of the following conditions:

Option 1

• Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.

Option 2

• Assistant Engineer (Civil) with 9 years of regular service in Level-7 Pay Matrix (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400).

Option 3

• Junior Engineer (Civil) with 12 years of regular service in Level-6 Pay Matrix (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400).

Maximum Age

• 56 Years as on the closing date of application receipt.

Deputation Period

• Initial deputation period including short-term contract shall ordinarily not exceed 4 years.

Opportunity for Armed Forces Personnel

Retiring Armed Forces personnel or those due for transfer to reserve within one year and possessing the prescribed qualifications and experience may also be considered for appointment on deputation basis as per applicable Government rules.
