Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive salary under:

• Pay Level: Level 12
• Pay Scale: PB-3 ₹15,600 – ₹39,100 + Grade Pay ₹7,600 (Pre-revised)

Salary and allowances will be provided as per Government of India deputation rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be officers holding analogous posts on regular basis or possess relevant experience in fisheries administration, marine fisheries research, oceanography, zoology, marine biology, or fisheries science.

Applicants should have:

• Master’s Degree in Zoology / Marine Biology / Fisheries Science / Oceanography or related discipline
  OR
• Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries Science from CIFE, Mumbai

Candidates should also possess substantial experience in marine fisheries survey, research, or fisheries administration.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scientific, technical, administrative, and financial functions of zonal fisheries offices
