The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) is an apex body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Established in 2000, NMPB is responsible for promoting the cultivation, conservation, sustainable management, and development of medicinal plants across the country. The Board supports research, capacity building, quality planting material production, and market linkages to strengthen the medicinal plants sector and traditional healthcare systems.
