The National Institute of Labour Economics Research and Development (NILERD) is an autonomous research institute under NITI Aayog, Government of India. Formerly known as the Institute of Applied Manpower Research (IAMR), NILERD specializes in labour economics, employment studies, human resource development, education planning, and policy research. The institute conducts research, training programs, and consultancy services to support evidence-based policymaking and socio-economic development in India.
