National Council of Educational Research and Training is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. NCERT is responsible for developing school curricula, educational policies, textbooks, learning resources, and teacher training programs for schools across the country.
The organization plays a significant role in improving the quality of school education through research, innovation, educational planning, and development of modern teaching methodologies. NCERT also conducts national-level educational surveys, training programs, and academic support initiatives to strengthen India’s education system.
