Promoting Integrity, Transparency and Accountability
Lokpal of India is an independent statutory anti-corruption authority established under the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013. Functioning under the Government of India, the Lokpal is empowered to inquire into allegations of corruption against public servants, including the Prime Minister (subject to statutory provisions), Ministers, Members of Parliament, and officials of the Central Government. The institution promotes transparency, accountability, and integrity in public administration while strengthening the country's anti-corruption framework.
