Excellence in Medical Education and Assessment

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Established in 1975, NBEMS is responsible for conducting postgraduate and postdoctoral medical examinations, accrediting hospitals for medical training, and awarding qualifications such as DNB, DrNB, and FNB. The Board also conducts national-level entrance examinations including NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, FMGE, GPAT (as assigned), and other medical assessment examinations, ensuring excellence in medical education and healthcare standards across India.
