Advancing Strategic Thought for National Security
The Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (MP-IDSA) is India's premier think tank for defence, strategic affairs, and national security. Established in 1965, the institute functions autonomously under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. MP-IDSA conducts policy-oriented research on defence, international relations, military strategy, cybersecurity, geopolitics, and regional security. It provides strategic analysis and policy recommendations to the Government of India while promoting academic research, publications, and international collaboration.
