Central Institute of Coastal Engineering for Fishery (CICEF) is a premier government institute under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Government of India. Established in 1968, the institute specializes in coastal engineering, fishery harbour development, aquaculture infrastructure, and marine resource planning. CICEF plays a vital role in developing sustainable fisheries infrastructure and supporting India’s blue economy initiatives.
