A person shall not be qualified for appointment as Presiding Officer of Debts Recovery Tribunal, unless he, is, or has been, a District Judge.
a person shall not be. qualified for appointment as chairperson of Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, unless he. ls, or has been, a Judge of a High Court. Has been a member of the indian Legal service with ten years of experience in litigation and has herd a post of Additional secretary or any equivalent or any higher post. Has held the office of presiding officer of a Debts Recovery Tribunal for three years.
