Salary Adjustments Based on Experience
- Ph.D. (Fresher): Rs. 47,000/- + HRA
- Ph.D. + 1 Year Experience: Rs. 49,000/- + HRA
- Ph.D. + 8 Years Experience: Senior Instructor – Rs. 85,000/- + HRA
Special Case for Engineering Discipline: Candidates with ME/M.Tech + programming skills will be considered as Project Associate I:
- With NET/GATE: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
- Without NET/GATE: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining undergraduate laboratories and teaching laboratory courses.
- Assisting in designing lecture/lab curriculum.
- Conducting tutorials, preparing course materials, and evaluating students.
- For B.Tech Instructors: Lab curriculum design, conducting labs, tutorials, grading assignments, and other assigned duties.
Duration of Appointment
- The positions are purely temporary on a contract basis for 1 year, extendable annually up to a maximum of 5 years based on performance.

- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
- IISc reserves the right to conduct a written test if required.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
